Microsoft is joining forces with Aptos Labs, a prominent developer of layer 1 blockchain technology. Aptos Labs is known for its advanced Move programming language and the Aptos blockchain. In the deal, they will leverage Microsoft's AI capabilities through the Azure OpenAI Service. One of the focal points is the introduction of "Aptos Assistant", an AI-powered chatbot designed to simplify Web3 onboarding. The user-friendly assistant will provide answers to queries regarding the Aptos blockchain. It will also assist developers in building smart contracts and dapps, helping in bridging the gap between Web2 and Web3.

According to Mo Shaikh, CEO of Aptos Labs, the synergy between AI and blockchain stems from their shared potential to transform the internet and society. The collaboration aims to democratize blockchain adoption and foster innovation by enabling more accessible and comprehensible Web3 experiences.

Moreover, this partnership will see Aptos running validator nodes on Microsoft's Azure cloud. This will enhance the reliability and security of the Aptos blockchain. The exploration of blockchain-based financial solutions, such as asset tokenization, payments, and Central Bank Digital Currencies, is another significant goal of the collaboration.
