EVERSPACE 2: A Thrilling Space Adventure with Stunning Visuals

EVERSPACE 2, the sequel to the original game, has made some significant changes while following in the footsteps of its predecessor. It has done away with some of its roguelike elements, expanded its explorable zones and missions, and introduced a full-length story with numerous twists and turns.

Compared to the original, the sequel offers fans more substance and depth. The game has been available in Early Access for over two years, during which the indie developer, ROCKFISH Games, has refined and added to it. 

What is the game about?

In EVERSPACE 2, the player takes on the pilot role in a fast-paced single-player space shooter. Navigate through war-torn star systems of the Demilitarized Zone of Cluster 34, filled with secrets and challenges, to score epic loot drops. Follow the thrilling sci-fi story of Adam, a clone pilot fighting for survival against clashing factions, warlords, cultists, and aliens. To succeed, gather a team of experts to join you on missions, provide upgradable perks, unlock new abilities, and aid your path forward.

Set in a vast, open-world galaxy full of secrets and perils, players must navigate through various sectors while battling enemy ships, collecting resources, and upgrading their ships. The game features a non-linear story mode with plenty of side quests and activities to keep players engaged for hours.

One of the standout features of EVERSPACE 2 is its gorgeous graphics. The game features breathtaking visuals. The soundtrack also enhances the immersive experience with an epic score that perfectly complements the action on screen.

What do players think of the game so far?

Combat in EVERSPACE 2 is fast-paced and intense, with a variety of weapons and abilities at the player's disposal. The game's RPG elements also allow for customization of the player's ship, providing a unique gameplay experience for each player.

Release dates and where to play

EVERSPACE 2 launched on April 6th, 2023, for PC. Xbox One and PS5 versions will follow in the summer, with an announcement from Rockfish expected as the date approaches.
