San Francisco-based centralized exchange Kraken has announced the launch of its highly anticipated NFT marketplace. The platform kicked off with an impressive selection of over 250 unique NFT collections.
One of the standout features of Kraken’s NFT marketplace is the gasless experience it offers. Users are not charged gas fees when buying or selling digital assets on the platform, irrespective of market conditions. However, it’s important to note that gas fees are applicable for transferring digital assets on and off the platform.
Since its private beta in October 2022, Kraken has been assiduously developing its NFT marketplace. Initially supporting NFT collections from Ethereum and Solana during its beta phase, the marketplace has expanded its offerings to include digital collectibles from Polygon, featuring popular items like the “red-hot Reddit collectible avatars”.
Moreover, Kraken aims to lower barriers to entry for non-crypto-native traders.
